Oil tanker fire, smoke billowing

A fuel tanker fire broke out in Da Nang, sending smoke billowing into the air.

On the evening of October 11, the leader of the People's Committee of Ngu Hanh Son Ward ( Da Nang ) said that the authorities had controlled and extinguished the fire of a fuel tanker truck in the area.

According to initial information, at 5:40 p.m. the same day, a large fire broke out at the parking lot behind a gas station on Le Van Hien Street (Ngu Hanh Son Ward, Da Nang).

Many people walking on the street far away from the fire still saw black smoke billowing up.

Immediately after receiving the news, the fire prevention, fighting and rescue police force of Da Nang Police quickly arrived at the scene to deploy fire fighting work.

Initial records show that the fire engulfed two oil tankers and a container containing oil drums.

Fire prevention, firefighting and rescue police mobilized many specialized vehicles and equipment, dozens of officers and soldiers used fire extinguishing powder to put out the fire.

The fire reduced the cabins of the two tankers to just the iron frames.
