In the heart of the bustling capital Ulan Bator (Mongolia), there is a small, peaceful corner that attracts book lovers and those who like to find a cozy space - that is the book cafe of old lady Lkhagvaa. Nearly 80 years old this year, with silver hair, a slow figure but eyes always shining with joy, old lady Lkhagvaa has become a familiar and inspiring image for many people here.

Before opening the shop, Ms. Lkhagvaa had been involved in education for more than 40 years. When she retired, instead of living comfortably with her children and grandchildren, she chose to continue contributing in another way: creating a space to nurture knowledge and spread the love of reading to the community. It was from the desire to "read, teach, and share" that this special book cafe was born.

Entering the shop, anyone can easily feel the friendly and warm atmosphere. The bookshelves are neatly arranged, covered with books of all genres, from encyclopedias, science , health, to textbooks of all levels. Whether the customers are adults looking for a place to relax or children coming to review their lessons, everyone can find their own quiet corner to read, study and enjoy the gentle aroma of coffee.

What makes the shop even more special is the presence of old lady Lkhagvaa. Not only is she the coffee maker, she is also the "grandmother" of all the customers. The students who visit the shop are often enthusiastically instructed by her, explaining difficult math problems or sentences they do not understand. With her gentle voice and kind smile, she turns the small space into a beloved classroom, where knowledge is imparted with all her heart.

For Lkhagvaa, the coffee shop is not just a business, but a place to maintain the connection between generations, a testament to the love of learning that never fades. "As long as I can read, as long as I can teach, I will continue to do this," she shared.

In the digital age, the image of an 80-year-old woman persistently preserving the reading culture in the heart of Ulanbato has become a beautiful symbol of knowledge and kindness. That small coffee shop, with the smell of old books mixed with the aroma of coffee, not only brings joy to readers but also ignites the spirit of lifelong learning in the community.
