
The merger of administrative boundaries has helped Da Nang form a synchronous tourism resource fund including sea - peninsula - Han River urban area seamlessly connected with the old town, islands, coconut forests, craft villages... Since then, many tour itineraries have been expanded from Son Tra, Ba Na to Hoi An, Cu Lao Cham and Cam Thanh. Notably, after the merger, new tours have been expanded in association with world cultural heritages such as Hoi An ancient town, My Son temple complex, Ngu Hanh Son scenic spot, creating a series of journeys "from heritage to sea and islands" rich in Central identity.

Currently, the city has built a network of more than 50 unique green and ecological tourist destinations, including 6 conservation areas, national parks, 14 tourist villages, 8 community tourist areas, 14 green-standard hotels...
In order to maintain its appeal during the peak season at the end of the year, Da Nang launched a large-scale promotional campaign "New Da Nang - New Experiences". The campaign focuses on five key programs: "Enjoy Da Nang - Many new experiences", "Three experience passports", "Event and festival journey", "I love Da Nang", along with special preferential policies for MICE guests and wedding tourism.

In the first 9 months of 2025, Da Nang welcomed more than 14.4 million visitors, an increase of 22.3% over the same period last year. Of which, international visitors reached 5.8 million (up 27.4%). Accommodation revenue reached 15,072 billion VND, up 33.2%. With strong growth momentum, the city's tourism industry aims to welcome more than 17.3 million visitors this year, aiming to become "the leading green tourism - MICE - resort center in Southeast Asia" in the new period.
