Coach Kim Sang Sik's team will have two matches against Nepal on October 9 and October 14. The first match will take place at Go Dau Stadium (HCMC) and the second match will take place at Thong Nhat Stadium (HCMC).

To prepare for these matches, the Vietnamese team gathered last night in Ho Chi Minh City.
Initially, coach Kim Sang Sik announced a list of 24 players for this training session. However, after midfielder Nguyen Quang Hai withdrew due to a shoulder injury, the Korean coach's team was left with 23 players.
Notably, this list of 23 players has the return of goalkeeper Dang Van Lam, along with the appearance of 8 players in the age group of 23, including goalkeeper Tran Trung Kien, defender Nguyen Hieu Minh, Nguyen Nhat Minh, midfielder Khuat Van Khang, Nguyen Xuan Bac, Nguyen Phi Hoang, striker Nguyen Dinh Bac and Nguyen Thanh Nhan.
As planned, the Vietnamese team will have its first training session this afternoon (October 5) at Go Dau Stadium (HCMC).
