On the morning of December 3, comrade Nguyen Duc Thanh, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, surveyed the planned construction site of Ninh Thuan 1 Nuclear Power Plant and visited Phuoc Dinh Kindergarten, Ca Na General Seaport in Thuan Nam district and Bau Truc Village Community Cultural House, Phuoc Dan town, Ninh Phuoc district.

Also attending were Colonel Huynh Tan Hanh, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Provincial Police; Comrade Trinh Minh Hoang, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and leaders of relevant departments, branches and localities.

At the planned construction site of Ninh Thuan 1 Nuclear Power Plant, after listening to the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee and Thuan Nam district quickly report on the current status of land use in the core area of ​​the project; report on the planning of component projects and the progress of implementing belt roads, the Provincial Party Secretary requested the Provincial People's Committee, relevant departments and branches and Thuan Nam district to urgently review the planning, develop a plan to upgrade traffic infrastructure, power and water supply systems; supplement the planning of infrastructure for resettlement areas, settlement, support job conversion, help people in the core area of ​​the project stabilize their housing and production; at the same time, strengthen propaganda and mobilization work, create consensus among the people on the meaning, purpose and importance to the national energy strategy of the nuclear power plant project when it is reinvested and built in the province.

Surveying the operation situation at Ca Na General Seaport, the Provincial Party Secretary highly appreciated the effective operation of port No. 1 and requested the investor to continue to speed up the construction progress of component projects, especially port infrastructure, breakwaters; coordinate with the Border Guard and functional agencies to strictly control the activities of ships entering and leaving the port to ensure safety. He directed the Provincial People's Committee, Thuan Nam district and related departments and branches to increase investment attraction for key projects of the southern economic key region of the province such as: Ca Na LNG Power Center Phase I (1,500 MW), Ca Na General Seaport (component 2), Ca Na oil depot, dry port project and logistics service center, clean energy projects, renewable energy, high-class urban and tourism areas; thereby promoting rapid and sustainable economic development, improving people's lives.
