Dong Nai focuses on solutions to increase investment attraction in industrial parks and economic zones.

(DN) - On September 3, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Kim Long chaired a working session with leaders of departments, branches and the Management Board of Dong Nai Industrial Parks and Economic Zones on the implementation of tasks in the first 8 months of 2025 and the board's solutions in the coming time.

In the first 8 months of 2025, the province's industrial parks and economic zones attracted more than 1.8 billion USD (reaching more than 99% of the annual plan) and more than 44.3 trillion VND of domestic investment capital (reaching 187.7% of the annual plan). Newly attracted projects are mainly in the fields of semiconductor manufacturing, mechanical engineering, manufacturing of industrial gas products, food processing, manufacturing of paper products and many other high-tech materials; the investment environment continues to improve. A number of large projects investing in industrial park infrastructure are being implemented, and a number of other projects have been approved for investment.

At the meeting, the Management Board of Dong Nai Industrial Parks and Economic Zones informed about the organizational situation of the unit after the reorganization; difficulties and problems arising in the process of performing tasks. These include issues related to planning and construction management; environmental management, labor, administrative reform; encouraging and promoting innovation for businesses..., at the same time investing and upgrading facilities to serve the professional tasks of the unit.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Kim Long acknowledged the efforts of the staff, employees and units under the Management Board of Dong Nai Industrial Parks and Economic Zones in performing their assigned tasks. The positive results in attracting investment in the province will continue to be the driving force to promote economic growth in the coming time.

Therefore, the provincial leaders proposed: Units should focus on performing their functions and tasks well with the goal of continuing to strongly improve the investment and business environment, accompanying and supporting enterprises. For the remaining work after the merger and the difficulties and problems that arise, depending on each field, departments and branches, based on their tasks, coordinate and support the Management Board of Dong Nai Industrial Parks and Economic Zones to remove and propose solutions to the leaders of the Provincial People's Committee. With specific contents, the province will organize specialized working sessions for units, departments and branches to advise as a basis for implementation.
