Techfest Dong Nai 2025: Spreading the spirit of digital transformation and innovation

This event took place right after the success of the 1st Dong Nai Provincial Party Congress (term 2025-2030); and is also part of a series of activities responding to National Innovation Day (October 1) and National Industrial Revolution Day (October 10).

“Creative runway - Dong Nai takes off”

Techfest Dong Nai 2025 will take place from October 8 to 10 at the Provincial Convention Center (Tan Trieu Ward). With the official theme “Creative Runway - Dong Nai Takes Off”, Techfest Dong Nai 2025 is expected to become an important forum to implement the orientation of “breakthrough development of science and technology, innovation and digital transformation” in the locality.

Deputy Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Dong Nai province, Vo Hoang Khai, said: The event will organize many meaningful and practical activities to celebrate National Innovation Day, National Digital Transformation Day and the success of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Congress (term 2025-2030) along with important political and social events of the province. In particular, this year's event is large-scale, with many rich series of activities including: exhibitions, seminars, talks, technology exhibitions and accompanying events. This will be an opportunity for organizations, businesses, scientists and young entrepreneurs to meet, share, cooperate and spread the spirit of innovation.

Dr. Pham Thi Hong Phuong, Head of Ecotech Technology Community - Techfest Vietnam; Head of Department, Senior Advisor of Center for Innovation, Startup and Technology Transfer (Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry) commented: The use of the name Techfest Dong Nai 2025 and the slogan "Creative Runway - Dong Nai Takes Off" has affirmed its position as a regional event, in sync with the Techfest Vietnam brand. This demonstrates the local aspiration to become a "solid launching pad" for creative ideas, in line with the spirit of the national Techfest.

The festival does not only stop at local activities but also aims to develop a network connecting innovation centers and creative startups in the Southern region, in line with the Government's general goal of developing the Southeast region into a leading innovation center. In addition, this is also an event with high connectivity and synchronization with the national startup ecosystem.

According to the Department of Science and Technology of Dong Nai province, the goal of Techfest Dong Nai 2025 is to affirm the role of science and technology, innovation and digital transformation as a pillar of development, promote technology transfer activities and build the spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship in the community, businesses and entrepreneurs. The highlight of the event is the digital technology exhibition space with about 200 booths displaying and introducing technology products, creative solutions, OCOP products (One Commune One Product Program) and is expected to attract about 1,500 participants.

Dr. Pham Thi Hong Phuong said: The exhibition at Techfest Dong Nai 2025 will be a place for "touching technology" activities, connecting creative ideas. The spaces are designed to create maximum interaction. For example, the exhibition area is divided into thematic areas corresponding to key economic sectors and core contents of science and technology, innovation and digital transformation.

The exhibition is oriented to be a place to demonstrate highly applicable and innovative solutions to solve practical local problems, including: digital transformation solutions for economic sectors; sustainable development and integration; digital infrastructure and urban areas.
