International tourists enjoy making Dong Ho paintings and enjoying Vietnamese specialties

At the East Sea Park on Vo Nguyen Giap Street (Son Tra District, Da Nang City), a space for culinary processing and traditional craft village experiences has just been organized. This is a prominent activity at the Enjoy Danang Summer Festival 2023 taking place from July 28 to August 1.

The culinary space takes place from 4:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., with more than 100 local, regional and international dishes, attracting many tourists to visit and experience.

Traditional dishes such as banh beo, banh mi, Quang noodles, banh canh, Hue noodles... bring interesting experiences to tourists.

In the culinary space, tables and chairs are arranged for visitors to sit and eat and watch the chef prepare the food directly. The traditional culinary experience area is visited by many domestic and international tourists. In the photo, two international tourists are enjoying Quang noodles.

While eating grilled pork, Jorik (a Belgian tourist) excitedly said: "This is the first time I have experienced a very interesting culinary space. Vietnamese dishes are wonderful."

Besides enjoying the cuisine, visitors can also experience traditional crafts such as weaving mats, weaving Co Tu brocade, weaving bamboo and rattan, making paintings...

Ms. Kassidee and Izzy (American tourists) enjoyed the experience of making Dong Ho paintings. "I am very impressed with Vietnamese culture. Each painting, from color to stroke, has its own meaning. This is a very interesting trip for me," Ms. Izzy shared.

According to statistics, the number of guests served by accommodation establishments in July 2023 is estimated at nearly 782 thousand, an increase of 5.3% over the previous month and an increase of 78.5% over the same period in 2022. Of which, international guests are estimated at 204.6 thousand.
