Tea Festival is one of the activities that will be included in the Healthcare Tourism Week - Hue 2025

Right at the end of this September (expected from September 26-28), Hue city will organize a program of experiencing and promoting Hue tourism culture and cuisine in conjunction with the Vietnam - Korea Cultural Day to introduce the unique features of culinary culture, people and landscapes.

According to the representative of the Department of Tourism, the space for experiencing and promoting Hue's tourism culture and cuisine is expected to have about 70 booths, arranged, operated and managed according to regulations, concentrated in the residential areas at 23-25 ​​Le Loi, Nguyen Dinh Chieu walking street, Tu Tuong park and along Le Loi street. The booths are specially designed, introducing a variety of Hue and regional cuisines, creating a unique and attractive experience space for the public and tourists.

Through the event's unique activities, the organizers hope to contribute to attracting, creating impressions and retaining tourists when they come to visit, experience and enhance people-to-people exchange activities, promote the image of culture - tourism - cuisine of Hue and Vietnam; at the same time, open up opportunities for the local community to access and experience the unique cultural, artistic and culinary values ​​of Korea.

Along with the above-mentioned event, the last months of the year are the period when Hue is bustling with many programs, activities and events within the framework of the National Tourism Year 2025 and Hue Festival. The event "Organizing tourism promotion activities on the occasion of the National Tourism Year - Hue 2025" alone includes the main activities: Culinary Festival "Hue - Culinary Capital" within the framework of the National Tourism Year - Hue 2025; International Chef Competition 2025; National Conference on Net Zero tourism - the current trend of Vietnam and the world; Organizing domestic and international travel business delegations to survey destinations in Hue city. The activities are arranged at appropriate times, ensuring the conditions for organization to attract organizations, units, businesses and tourists to conveniently experience.

Mega Booming 2 is expected to bring together more famous artists than the first time.

According to Ms. Tran Thi Hoai Tram, Director of the Department of Tourism, one of the events that was successfully organized for the first time in July 2025 was the Mega Booming music festival that will return in December 2025 at Ngo Mon Square. In addition, an event that was organized for the first time related to golf tourism was the Vietnam Golf Course Owners Conference to discuss the orientation of sustainable development of tourism and golf economy in Vietnam. This event promises to open a new chapter in the development of golf tourism and golf economy in Vietnam.

Another highlight is that this year's Healthcare Tourism Week will be organized on a larger scale than previous years, with many attractive activities. Healthcare Tourism Week - Hue 2025, scheduled to take place from October 21 to November 2, 2025, will be deployed for local and foreign residents and tourists through online and offline channels.

According to the representative of the Department of Tourism, the week will have many main activities such as: Tea Festival; Hue Heritage Trail 2025; Vietnam Golf Festival 2025; Vietnam Pickleball Festival 2025; Vietnam Pickleball Festival Championship; Miss Pickleball Vietnam 2025 final; Trampoline performance to set a Vietnamese record. In addition, there will be accompanying activities such as: Active Health Care Festival; Mindfulness Day (combined with Yoga).

Bringing more experiences to tourists

One of the important orientations of the tourism industry today is to increase the experience for tourists and build suitable tourism products. Currently, based on the plans and programs of the National Tourism Year and Hue Festival, travel agencies have been building and adding experiences in tour programs, products and services so that tourists have the opportunity to experience interesting activities.

Visitors to Hue experience tourism

According to Mr. Ho Dang Xuan Lan, Vice President of the Tourism Association, President of the Hue City Hotel Association, in order to create an impression and bring the best experiences to tourists, the Tourism Association in general and the Hue City Hotel Association in particular have also asked businesses to implement solutions to welcome guests. Hotels have also proactively developed plans to welcome guests, improved service quality, changed attractive menus and had appropriate incentive and promotion programs.

In addition to preparing for tours, tourism products, and accommodation facilities, the tourism industry is also implementing interesting playgrounds for tourists. From mid-September to October 31, 2025, the Department of Tourism will coordinate with Grab and tourism and service businesses to implement the program "Experience Hue - Culinary Capital" on the Hue City Passport application (Hue Tourism Passport). At the same time, it will bring an interesting playground with the contest "Creating Hue Culinary Passport videos" to spread the love of Hue's delicious dishes to friends near and far. When coming to the experience points and completing the challenges, each tourist participating in the game will receive a reward. In addition, each creative video from the players, including tourists, will have the opportunity to receive attractive prizes.
