Hai Phong Port is one of the "bright spots" in the manufacturing enterprise sector that is highly appreciated by the City's Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation when it annually maintains the organization of Voluntary Blood Donation Day.

Since 2009, Voluntary Blood Donation Day has become an annual activity organized by Hai Phong Port.

With the message "Every drop of blood given, a life saved", the number of people registering to donate blood and the number of blood units collected have increased year by year, in 2009 it reached 80 blood units, this year it increased to 226 blood units.

With 226 units of blood collected at the festival, it will contribute to supplementing the city's blood reserves.
