Extension and exemption of more than 1,600 billion VND for Ha Tinh taxpayers

(Baohatinh.vn) - According to statistics from the tax industry, in 2025, Ha Tinh will have thousands of businesses and taxpayers having their taxes extended and exempted with a total amount of more than 1,600 billion VND.

In recent years, to support and promote the development of production and business activities in the context of many unfavorable fluctuations in the world and domestic economy , the Government has issued many policies to reduce, postpone, and extend tax and land rent payments. In fact, the Government's policies have helped businesses and taxpayers gradually overcome difficulties, develop production and business, ensure income for workers, and continue to increase budget revenue.

Inheriting and promoting support packages from previous years, in 2025, the Government continues to introduce many policies on tax extension and exemption so that a large number of taxpayers can access and benefit. First of all, we must mention Decree No. 82/2025/ND-CP of the Government issued on April 2, 2025 on extending the deadline for payment of value added tax, corporate income tax, personal income tax and land rent in 2025.

According to the report of Ha Tinh Provincial Tax Department, up to now, the whole province has 1,402 taxpayers with value added tax extension with the total tax extension amounting to 202.8 billion VND; 97 organizations and individuals requesting land rent extension with the extension amount of more than 19.8 billion VND.

Mr. Pham Kieu Hung - representative of Viet Hai Trading and Transport Services Company Limited shared: The Government extended the tax payment deadline and reduced taxes on popular taxes, helping many taxpayers benefit. As a company that both produces and trades, the company will benefit from all policies in 2025. Up to this point, the company has been granted tax extensions and tax reductions worth billions of dong to have more resources to invest in production and business.

Ha Tinh Oil and Gas Power Company is supported to reduce input value-added tax in 2025.

In parallel with the extension of tax payment deadline, the tax sector also implemented many tax reduction packages to support people and businesses, including: 50% reduction of environmental protection tax on gasoline, oil, and grease from January 1 to December 31, 2025 according to Resolution No. 60/2024/UBTVQH15 dated December 24, 2024; reduction of land rent in 2024 according to Decree No. 87/2025/ND-CP dated April 11, 2025 of the Government; reduction of value added tax according to Resolution No. 174/2024/QH15 dated November 30, 2024 of the National Assembly.

According to statistics, since the beginning of the year, the whole province has reduced more than 684 billion VND of environmental protection tax on gasoline, oil, and grease for 6 enterprises (Ha Tinh Petroleum Company, Vung Ang Petroleum Joint Stock Company, Giang Nam Petroleum Company Limited - Ha Tinh Branch, Phuc Lam Fuel Joint Stock Company - Ha Tinh Branch, Giang Nam Investment Joint Stock Company and Phuc Loc Ninh Joint Stock Company); reduced more than 24.5 billion VND of land rent for 521 taxpayers; reduced more than 726.7 billion VND of value added tax for 2,091 enterprises and taxpayers.

Enterprises that have had their tax payments extended or reduced include: VG High-Tech Energy Solutions Company Limited, Vines Ha Tinh Energy Solutions Joint Stock Company, Formosa Ha Tinh Iron and Steel Corporation Limited, Ha Tinh Petroleum Power Company, Ha Tinh Power Company...

Ha Tinh Province Tax Officers support people in declaring tax administrative procedures.

Mr. Tran Nghi - Deputy Head of Taxation of Ha Tinh province said: "As of September 15, Ha Tinh has thousands of enterprises and taxpayers who have had their tax payments extended and exempted with a total amount of more than 1,600 billion VND. In order for taxpayers to access and benefit from the policy, in recent times, the tax sector has promoted propaganda and dissemination to people and enterprises in the whole province in many forms such as: sending information about the policy to taxpayers via email; coordinating with local press agencies to carry out propaganda work; promptly answering difficulties and questions about the policy of tax extension and exemption for enterprises and taxpayers".

With the prompt and timely support of Ha Tinh Provincial Tax Department, the Government's policies in 2025 have been reaching taxpayers in Ha Tinh, thereby contributing to supporting businesses and people to overcome difficulties; continue to operate, contribute to economic recovery after the COVID-19 pandemic and implement social security.

In the coming time, Ha Tinh Provincial Tax Department will continue to accompany, advise, guide, and help taxpayers to quickly and correctly implement regulations.
