On the morning of September 20, OCOP entities of Gia Lai province coordinated to organize the opening of a point to introduce and sell OCOP Binh Dinh - Gia Lai products, at 111 Le Hong Phong Street, Quy Nhon Ward.
Delegates performed the ribbon-cutting ceremony to open the OCOP Binh Dinh - Gia Lai product introduction and sales point.
This “common house” is one of the places to display and connect inter-regional OCOP products, helping people and tourists easily access agricultural and specialty products from the highlands and lowlands of the new Gia Lai province.
Initially, the store gathered 13 entities, including 10 from Binh Dinh province and 3 from the former Gia Lai province, with hundreds of OCOP-certified products and many types of clean agricultural products and essential foods, directly from the manufacturer to the consumer.
Coming to the store, people and tourists not only shop, but also experience the taste of their homeland, from the salty taste of traditional fish sauce De Gi Thai An, the fresh sweetness of Anh Dung ocean tuna, and the intoxication of Belifoods wine. The rich Vietnamese soul with purple sweet potato rice vermicelli, shrimp spring rolls, and Phuong Nguyen rice paper.

Also according to the store representative, during the opening week (from September 20 to 26), the store has many promotions such as 10-30% discount, giving gifts of gratitude for bills over 100,000 VND, or check-in gifts for customers. This is expected to be the initial push, attracting the attention of the community and tourists when visiting Quy Nhon.
In recent years, the "One Commune One Product" (OCOP) program in Gia Lai has had a clear transformation, from small-scale, fragmented production to sustainable value chain development.

Not only stopping at creating typical local agricultural products, many OCOP entities have been gradually bringing their products to the international market, thanks to thorough investment in raw material areas, processing technology, marketing strategies and modern standardization.
Gia Lai province currently has 981 valid OCOP products. Of these, 851 products have achieved 3 stars, 123 products have achieved 4 stars and 7 products have achieved 5 stars. These products are developed by 507 entities, including 340 production facilities, 82 cooperatives, 81 companies and a number of other organizations such as farmers' associations, cooperatives and craft villages.
