Gold expert Tran Duy Phuong advises gold buyers and sellers to be careful because the risk of buying fake gold is not rare. Some SJC gold bars that are found to be fake are punched or refused to be purchased by SJC company, at which point the buyer will be at risk.

"If people buy SJC gold bars from groups or online, the legal risks are even greater, not to mention the risk of buying low-quality gold, fake gold or fraud," said Mr. Phuong.
