Attending the ceremony were Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Vo Xuan Ca; Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission Huynh Thi Thuy Dung; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Cong Thanh; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Quang Buu; and representatives of departments, branches of the province and Tam Ky city.

In the solemn atmosphere of the ceremony, Most Venerable Thich Thien Thanh read the Buddha's Birthday Message of Buddhist calendar 2568 of the Supreme Patriarch of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha; Most Venerable Thich Phuoc Minh read the Buddha's Birthday Speech of the Most Venerable, President of the Executive Council of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha.

Reading the Buddha's Birthday Message of Buddhist calendar 2568 from the Supreme Patriarch of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha, Most Venerable Thich Thien Thanh said that Buddha's Birthday, or the Three Harmonies Day - commemorating the Buddha's birth, enlightenment and Nirvana, is an occasion to review together the noble life, the teachings of selflessness, altruism, love and wisdom, which are not only a source of comfort but also offer practical solutions to transform personal suffering, creating a peaceful environment for all living beings.

In the Buddha's Birthday Message 2568, the Supreme Patriarch of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha called on monks, nuns, and Buddhists to pray for diligent practice, spread love to all living beings, and light up this world with the light of compassion and wisdom.

“With all the sacred meaning of the Buddha's birthday, I wish all Buddhists around the world to unite, live altruistically with all humanity, and build a peaceful and happy world” - Message of the Buddha's birthday celebration, Buddhist calendar 2568 stated.

At the ceremony, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Nam province Vo Xuan Ca read a congratulatory letter on Buddha's birthday 2568, thereby expressing his belief that with their role and prestige, the Venerable clergy and Buddhists of Quang Nam province will continue to promote the tradition of patriotism, protect the country and people, spread the good cultural and ethical values ​​of Buddhism, closely accompany the nation, well implement the policies of the Party and State, actively respond to patriotic emulation movements, humanitarian and charitable activities...

On behalf of the provincial leaders, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Quang Buu congratulated, acknowledged and commended the contributions of monks, nuns and Buddhists in Quang Nam province in recent times, and at the same time called on Buddhists to further promote the activities of national solidarity and join hands to build the homeland and the country.
