Two people were detained in an emergency for assaulting a driver in Nam Dinh.

(Dan Tri) - The Investigation Police Agency of Giao Thuy District Police, Nam Dinh Province, has issued an emergency detention order for two subjects who assaulted a driver at Con Nhat ferry terminal.

On the afternoon of February 2, a leader of Giao Thuy District Police, Nam Dinh Province, said that the investigation police agency of Giao Thuy District Police had issued an order to detain Pham Ngoc Tuan (born 1980), residing in Hanoi City, and Pham Van Tuyen (born 1982), residing in Giao Thuy District, Nam Dinh Province, in an emergency.

According to the police, at around 2:30 p.m. on February 1, Pham Ngoc Tuan drove car with license plate 18A-018.72 carrying his wife from the direction of Con Nhat culvert, Hong Thuan commune to Giao Thuy town on provincial road 489 to go to Hanoi.

When arriving at Hong Ha street, near Con Nhat ferry, Tuan had a conflict with the driver of car with license plate 14A-901.71, driven by Mr. Vu Duc Thuan (born 1987, residing in Cam Pha city, Quang Ninh).

Because of his frustration with Thuan's attitude, Tuan called a man named Pham Van Tuyen to resolve the matter. Then Tuan drove his car forward about 50 meters from Thuan's car and stopped to wait for Tuyen.

About 5 minutes later, Tuyen and Mr. Pham Van Thuy (born in 1982, residing in Giao Thuy district) came to Tuan. Tuan led Tuyen and Thuy to walk to the area where Mr. Thuan's car was still waiting in line for the ferry.

Tuan pointed and knocked on the glass door, calling Thuan to come down and talk, but Thuan did not open the door.

At this time, the two sides were arguing with each other. Suddenly, Tuyen and Thuy put their hands through the gap of the driver's door, shook the driver's side windshield and pulled down the driver's window.

Tuyen jumped through the window and punched the driver and the car driver many times. Tuyen, Tuan and Thuy also used their hands to hit Thuan and the people in the car.

In it, Tuyen clung to the rearview mirror, put his two legs through the windshield and kicked repeatedly at Mr. Thuan and the people in the car.

Seeing that, Tuan, Thuy and some people came to stop Tuyen and dragged him out. Thuan rolled up the window. Tuyen continued to walk towards Thuan's car. Thuan challenged and cursed Tuyen and everyone else, so Tuyen used his hand to attack Thuan.

Everyone continued to stop him, pulling Tuyen out. Thuan closed the car door tightly and sat inside. After that, Tuyen and Thuy got in the car and went home. Tuan continued driving to Hanoi.

Upon receiving the information, Giao Thuy District Police asked Mr. Pham Ngoc Tuan to come to work at the police headquarters on the morning of February 2.

Giao Thuy town police contacted Mr. Thuan by phone, spoke directly with him and invited him to Giao Thuy district police headquarters to work and report the incident. Mr. Thuan replied that he could not come due to work and would send the report by post.

Giao Thuy District Police Investigation Agency has issued an emergency detention order for Pham Ngoc Tuan and Pham Van Tuyen.

Giao Thuy district police are investigating the case.
