Google opens Vietnamese AI Mode, searching smarter than ever

Google users in Vietnam can now experience AI Mode entirely in Vietnamese, making searching more natural, intuitive, and insightful.

Google has just officially launched AI Mode in Vietnamese, bringing a smarter search experience to domestic users.

This feature is based on the Gemini 2.5 platform, which is capable of understanding and processing long questions with multiple layers of information at the same time.

Instead of just showing links, Google AI will synthesize detailed answers, with illustrations and references.

Users can ask complex questions like “What are the UNESCO-recognized heritage sites in Vietnam?” and get comprehensive, visual results.

In particular, AI Mode supports multi-modal search via images, voice or uploaded photos, making search more flexible.

Google says the new tool still adheres to Google Search's core quality assessment system, ensuring reliable results.

If the AI ​​doesn't have enough data to answer accurately, Google will automatically display the traditional list of results as before.

Google representative said that supporting Vietnamese in AI Mode will help users ask more natural questions and explore the world in their own language.
