Therefore, the requirement for appraisal work is to optimize the use of health insurance funds and the staff doing health insurance appraisal work has closely coordinated with the Department of Health and medical facilities to fulfill this requirement well.

Along with that, the staff doing the health insurance appraisal work has helped the Board of Directors of the City Social Insurance, the District Social Insurance, and the Town Social Insurance advise the People's Committee and the City People's Council on policies; participating with the health insurance sector to have a common voice to request the State to review, amend, supplement, and build mechanisms and policies on health insurance, including the amended Law on Health Insurance, the Law on Medical Examination and Treatment, the Law on Pharmacy... in accordance with international practices and practices.

The achievements of health insurance appraisal work have greatly contributed to the overall achievements of the City Social Insurance, helping the City Social Insurance to excellently and comprehensively complete the assigned goals and tasks.

In 2025 and the following years, health insurance appraisal work continues to face many difficulties. Director of Hanoi Social Security Phan Van Men requested the health insurance appraisal department to propose solutions to control costs well and balance the health insurance fund according to the budget assigned by Vietnam Social Security.

In addition, the appraisal department closely coordinates with the health sector and medical facilities to care for and protect the rights and interests of health insurance participants, requesting hospitals to fully supply medicine and medical supplies to people; continue to advise the leaders of the City Social Insurance to participate in building health insurance mechanisms and policies suitable to reality.
