Two cars collided and crashed into a wood workshop.

Thanh Hoa: A 29-seat sleeper bus crashed into a truck, then both crashed into a roadside wood workshop, killing one driver and injuring many others.

At nearly 4:00 a.m. on August 28, a passenger bus with a Lang Son license plate traveling from Thanh Hoa City to National Highway 47 crashed into a blue-plate truck at the intersection in Dong Tan Ward.

Both vehicles crashed into a roadside wood workshop. The two drivers were seriously injured and taken to the hospital, but one person has died, his identity is unknown.

According to authorities, there were about 15 people on the bus, some of whom were injured and are being treated at a nearby medical facility.

At the scene, the front of two cars were crushed, the front windshield and both sides were shattered.

Electric poles and traffic lights were broken. Two walls of the wood workshop also collapsed, much of the furniture inside was severely damaged.

At the time of the accident, there was no one working at the wood workshop.

Thanh Hoa City Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
