On October 1, the Senior Citizens Association of Phu Xa 4 residential group, Tich Luong ward, organized a rally to celebrate International Day of Senior Citizens (October 1) and regular association activities.

Elderly members of Phu Xa 4 residential group, Tich Luong ward, actively participate in local cultural and artistic activities.

Currently, the Association has 132 members, including 58 male members, 78 female members, 9 members from 90 to 99 years old. Following Uncle Ho's teachings, the older the age, the stronger the will, the elderly in the group always live happily, healthily, usefully, setting an example for their children and grandchildren to follow. In particular, the members always encourage their children and grandchildren to well implement the Party's policies and the State's laws. At the same time, they also do well in humanitarian charity work; participate in cultural, artistic, physical training and sports activities in the locality. Every year, the families of the Association members meet the standards of Cultural Families.

At the meeting, members reviewed the tradition of International Day of Older Persons; updated the socio -economic development situation of Tich Luong ward, the province and the country after the merger.

The members hope that the Ward Elderly Association will be quickly reorganized after the merger so that the association can have more practical activities.
