Tay Tuu and Xuan Dinh wards support people affected by storms and floods

On October 14, Tay Tuu ward and Xuan Dinh ward organized a program to launch the peak month "For the poor" and social security in 2025; supporting people affected by storms and floods.

At the program, leaders of Tay Tuu ward presented gifts to 51 households in difficult circumstances in the area with 1 million VND/household, taken from the ward's "For the Poor" Fund; supporting people in areas affected by storms and floods.

Speaking at the program, Party Secretary, Chairman of Tay Tuu Ward People's Council Nguyen Huu Tuyen called on agencies, units, enterprises, cadres, party members and all people in the area to promote the spirit of responsibility, affection, and support materially and spiritually for the Fund "For the Poor" and people affected by natural disasters and floods.

The Standing Committee of the Ward Party Committee requested the Party cell committees, residential groups, and socio -political organizations of the ward to strengthen propaganda and mobilize widely among cadres, Party members, association members, union members and the masses, creating a strong spread, so that the movement can achieve practical and effective results.

In Xuan Dinh ward, according to statistics, up to now, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Xuan Dinh ward has donated nearly 500 million VND to the relief fund and the "For the poor" fund of the ward.

Chairwoman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Xuan Dinh Ward Nguyen Thu Huong requested socio-political organizations; the Front Work Committee of residential groups to coordinate with Party committees, residential groups, branches and unions to continue promoting propaganda and mobilization work so that the "For the Poor" Peak Month in 2025 and the campaign to support people to overcome damage caused by storms and floods achieve practical results.

Along with that, units focus on reviewing and grasping the number, situation and needs of families in especially difficult circumstances, households affected by storms and floods to develop specific assistance plans. The mobilization, management and use of the "For the Poor" Fund and the Relief Fund must be carried out in accordance with regulations, ensuring the right purpose, target, publicity and transparency.
