
On October 14, the Department of Innovation, Green Transformation and Industrial Promotion ( Ministry of Industry and Trade ) in collaboration with Industry and Trade Magazine and the University of Electricity organized the launching ceremony of the Contest "Learning about the law on economical and efficient use of energy".
According to the Organizing Committee, the contest aims to disseminate the law on economical and efficient use of energy to the public, especially the youth. Thereby, creating favorable conditions for people to clearly understand and apply legal regulations related to economical and efficient use of energy, and to be aware of the economic , environmental and social benefits of applying measures to use energy efficiently; thereby promoting the process of sustainable development.

In the context that Vietnam has been implementing many strong policies to move towards the goal of net zero emissions by 2050, using energy economically and efficiently is considered the “first energy source”, the core, sustainable and least expensive solution to ensure national energy security, contribute to reducing greenhouse gas emissions and improving the competitiveness of the economy.
Right at the launching ceremony, the online preliminary round was activated at the address: http://timhieuphapluat.tapchicongthuong.vn; the time from October 14 to November 6 includes 3 weeks of competition.
Every week, the Organizing Committee summarizes and announces the Top 3 contestants with the highest results to award prizes. At the end of 3 weeks, the Organizing Committee announces the teams that are qualified to participate in the Training Round.
The final round is scheduled to take place in late November 2025 in a live format with the participation of the best teams. The teams will demonstrate their knowledge, understanding of the law and talent through dramatizing situations of energy saving and efficiency.
