Tens of thousands of people joined the Gala night "Glory to the People's Public Security of Vietnam"

Kinhtedothi - On the evening of March 9, the series of activities "Glory to the People's Public Security of Vietnam" ended with a grand Gala music night, attracting tens of thousands of people and tourists to attend.

The music gala “Glory of the People's Public Security of Vietnam” is a special art event held at Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi. This is one of the key activities in a series of events celebrating the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Traditional Day (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection (August 19, 2005 - August 19, 2025), chaired by the Ministry of Public Security in coordination with other organizing units.

Attending the Gala night were comrades: Nguyen Trong Nghia - Member of the Politburo , Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission; Senior Lieutenant General Tran Quoc To - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Central Public Security Party Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security; Major General Dang Hong Duc - Member of the Standing Committee of the Central Public Security Party Committee, Deputy Minister of Public Security; Lieutenant General Nguyen Ngoc Toan - Member of the Central Public Security Party Committee, Assistant to the Politburo Member, Minister of Public Security, Director of the Department of Political Work. Opening the Gala night at Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square was a heroic performance by the Drum Art Troupe of the People's Police Academy and the Symphony Orchestra. Lieutenant Colonel, Associate Professor, Dr. Phan Van Thinh - Head of the Political Affairs Department, People's Police Academy said that the above performance was also one of the most attractive and grandiose performances of the Drum Art Troupe with the participation of 650 members, including drum performances, flag dancing and supporting dances.

Before performing in the "Glory of the People's Public Security of Vietnam" music gala, this performance was successfully performed by officers and soldiers in the program welcoming the 2024 Asian Police Taekwondo Open Championship in Quang Ninh, receiving a warm welcome from officers and the audience.

The Gala stage continued to "explode" with the appearance of two singers who are currently loved by the public - Tung Duong and Duong Hoang Yen with the AC Dance Team with the mashup: The Road We Go - Joining Hands - Unstoppable by musicians Huy Du, Trinh Cong Son and Sia Furler, Christopher Braide.

Also at the program, the image of the People's Public Security (PPP) soldier was also vividly portrayed in many special performances about the homeland, the country, and the PPP force. Notably, the dance poem "White Poplar Trees" by artists from the PPP Song and Dance Theater recreated the emotional and sacred story of the People's Armed Forces Heroine Vo Thi Sau.

The songs associated with Tung Duong's name are "Chiec khan pieu" by musician Doan Nho. Nguyen Tran Trung Quan made many impressions with the song "Mother loves children" by musician Nguyen Van Ty.
