The test and preparation for the flight practice session took place in the hot weather on the afternoon of August 12.

Four Casa aircraft are preparing to take off for training under the 918th Air Brigade (Air Defense - Air Force), including one Casa C-295 (serial number 8902), one white-blue Casa C-212-400 (serial number 8982) and two Casa C-212i aircraft.

According to the flight crew and ground forces, the weight and flight speed characteristics between the C-295 and C-212 create a difficult problem for pilot training. In particular, the unstable weather recently has affected the training of pilots and flight crews. However, with the highest effort and determination, the Brigade commander proposed plans and methods to ensure the flight process is safe, the best formation, the right distance and the right time.

The formation of 4 aircraft flew in an arrow formation. After 40 years, on September 2, the transport aircraft formation of the Vietnam Air Force will return to perform in the sky of Hanoi .

With so many aircraft types in the formation, the differences in size, weight and speed characteristics pose challenges to pilot training.

During training, the distance between aircraft is kept precisely calculated to ensure safety and beauty.

On the occasion of National Day, September 2nd this year, the sound of airplane engines will resound throughout Ba Dinh Square. The steel birds spread their wings in the capital's sky, stirring up pride and historical memories.

Participating in the parade and march on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, the Air Defense - Air Force will organize 9 groups of flights with 30 aircraft to fly in welcome, including helicopters, C295, C212i, Yak-130, L-39NG, Su30-MK2. The forces will use 3 airports for takeoff and landing including Hoa Lac, Gia Lam (Hanoi) and Kep ( Bac Ninh ).
