Becamex Ho Chi Minh City Club introduced two foreign players who promise to replace Nguyen Tien Linh before round 1 of V-League 2025-2026 when playing away at Hoang Anh Gia Lai Club.

First is Origbaajo Ismaila, born in 1998 in Nigeria. This player played in J3 League with Sagamihara, J2 League with Tochigi FC and J1 League with Kyoto Sanga.

Coach Nguyen Anh Duc's second foreign striker contract is Ugochukwu Oduenyi. This is a player of Quang Nam Club in the 2024-2025 season with 3 goals contributed to the team.

After Quang Nam FC did not participate in the 2025-2026 V-League, Oduenyi went to Binh Duong for a trial. At least he has the advantage of being familiar with the playing style in Vietnam after 13 matches.
