Miss Doan Thien An returns as the female lead

After the unexpected great success of The Billion Dollar Kiss, beauty queen Doan Thien An will return to the big screen with a second chance to play the female lead in Love Poem to the Nun.

At the event, Miss Doan Thien An shared that she was so nervous that she had trouble sleeping before the filming started today. Taking on the role of the same name as Thien An, she put a lot of her thoughts and feelings into the character because she had many points of contact and sympathy with herself.

She hopes the audience will see many different perspectives on this role and give love to the project.

A special co-star of Thien An in the film - actor Thanh Son, who is causing a stir with the film Death Battle in the Sky , also shared that he felt excited by the difference right from the name of the film.

“It’s been a long time since I felt so in love with a romantic project like Love Poem to a Nun . I hope the film can bring all that romantic spirit to the audience and to those in love,” the actor shared.

The film will be directed by director Le Thien Vien and producer Ly Minh Thang. It is a romantic comedy with a different theme, promising to bring a breath of fresh air to the audience.

According to the revelation, the film is a poetic love story with many emotions of a singer in a church choir in a coastal countryside of the Central region.

Love Poem to a Nun is expected to be filmed in 3 locations: Phu Yen , Binh Dinh and Ninh Thuan over a period of about 30 days. The crew said the film will explore new scenes that have never appeared on the big screen.

The film is expected to be released in 2026.
