Ben Luc Social Policy Bank Transaction Office operates stably and effectively
Stabilize transaction points, increase capital sources
The Kien Tuong Social Policy Bank Transaction Office coordinates with local authorities to ensure the maintenance of convenient transaction points for people, stabilize policy credit activities; continue to effectively implement Directive No. 39-CT/TW, especially in rearranging commune transaction locations at new commune People's Committee headquarters or continue to use old transaction points. 100% of new communes and wards agree to create conditions for the Kien Tuong Social Policy Bank Transaction Office to maintain operations at all 9/9 transaction points, ensuring convenience for people. Of which, 6 transaction points are arranged at old commune halls or Cultural - Sports and Community Learning Centers; the remaining 3 transaction points are located at hamlet/neighborhood headquarters, including: Go Tranh hamlet headquarters (old Binh Tan commune), Quarter 10 (old Ward 2), Quarter 12 (old Ward 3).
As of September 25, 2025, the total capital of Kien Tuong Social Policy Bank transaction office reached 480 billion VND; total loan turnover reached 107 billion VND with 1,708 loan customers.
Ms. Tran Thi Kim Trung (residing in Tuyen Thanh commune) borrowed 100 million VND from the Social Policy Bank to invest in planting 2 hectares of durian. Thanks to her proper care, the durian garden has grown well and is expected to be harvested next year. “With the bank loan, my family and I used that money to buy medicine and hire workers to take care of the durian garden. With the support capital, my family's financial burden has been greatly reduced,” Ms. Trung shared.
Pham Van Kiet, Director of Kien Tuong Social Policy Bank Transaction Office, said: “After the merger, the transaction points still operate smoothly without interruption, helping people access capital quickly. We especially support border communes, organizing many training courses to improve the professional qualifications of staff, meeting the requirements in the new situation.”
Expanding support, flexible adaptation
In addition to supporting household economic development, policy credit capital also has a credit program for students in difficult circumstances. Ms. Huynh Thi Nuong (residing in My Yen commune) said: "Thanks to borrowing 40 million VND from the credit program for students of the Ben Luc Social Policy Bank, my husband and I have been greatly relieved of our worries about our son's tuition and living expenses."
The total outstanding debt as of September 30, 2025 of the Ben Luc Social Policy Bank Transaction Office is more than 529 billion VND with 10,035 customers with outstanding debt, including outstanding loans of 4 main economic development loan programs (poor, near-poor, newly escaped poverty households and job creation).
Director of the Ben Luc Social Policy Bank Transaction Office Truong Tran Tuan said: “After the administrative reorganization, many communes expanded their areas, the number of borrowing households and outstanding loans increased rapidly. Meanwhile, due to limited physical facilities, some commune People's Committees and entrusted organizations had to work in two different places, causing difficulties in coordinating the implementation of credit activities. However, the Ben Luc Social Policy Bank Transaction Office is flexible in its operations, maintaining stable operations, not affecting the people and entrusted organizations”./.
