'Full Moon Festival' for disadvantaged students in Hoa Thanh ward

On the afternoon of October 4, at Thien Lam - Go Ken Pagoda (Hoa Thanh Ward, Tay Ninh Province), the Association for the Protection of the Disabled, the Poor and the Protection of Children's Rights of Tay Ninh Province (Association) coordinated with the Charity Board of Thien Lam - Go Ken Pagoda to organize the program "Full Moon Festival Night" for students with difficult circumstances in the ward.

Attending the event were Deputy Head of the Culture - Social Committee of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Viet Cuong; Secretary of the Party Committee of Hoa Thanh Ward Duong Quoc Khanh; Chairman of the Association for the Support of the Disabled, the Poor and Protection of Children's Rights of Tay Ninh Province Nguyen Van Qua; Venerable Thich Thien Nghia - Abbot of Thien Lam Pagoda - Go Ken, Vice Chairman of the Association for the Support of Children and other benefactors.

Deputy Head of the Culture - Social Committee of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Viet Cuong and Chairman of the Sponsoring Association Nguyen Van Qua presented gifts to students in difficult circumstances.

At the program, children enjoyed performances, drum dance, Indian dance, and fun and unique quizzes with prizes.

On this occasion, the Sponsoring Association presented gifts to 350 disadvantaged students in Hoa Thanh ward. Each gift was worth more than 150,000 VND, including lanterns, moon cakes, and some types of cakes.
