- On the evening of October 9, the Provincial Red Cross Society coordinated with the Light Up Faith Club to organize a delegation to visit and give gifts to support households severely affected by storm No. 11 in Van Nham and Thien Tan communes.

Due to the impact of storm No. 11, Van Nham and Thien Tan communes were severely affected. Specifically, in Van Nham commune, 15 villages were isolated, about 2,000 houses of households were deeply flooded with nearly 10,000 people affected, estimated damage up to 80 billion VND; in Thien Tan commune, the whole commune had 5 collapsed houses, 21 houses had landslides and over 200 houses were flooded...

Leaders of the Provincial Red Cross Society presented gifts to representatives of households affected by storm No. 11 in Van Nham commune.

During the program, the delegation visited and encouraged severely affected families; gave support gifts including life jackets and many necessities such as instant noodles, water, cakes, milk, sausages... with a total value of over 150 million VND.

This is a practical activity to help households in flooded areas overcome immediate difficulties and spread the spirit of humanity and sharing, demonstrating the tradition of "helping each other", joining hands for the community.
