Provincial Red Cross Society received more than 2.7 billion VND in support of the Cuban people

- After 65 days of launching the program "65 years of Vietnam - Cuba friendship", the Provincial Red Cross Society has received more than 2.7 billion VND in support of the Cuban people.

The leaders of the Provincial Red Cross Society received funds to support the Cuban people from officials, party members and people of Ky Lua ward.

The program "65 years of Vietnam - Cuba friendship" was launched by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society on August 13, 2025. After launching, the Provincial Red Cross Society promoted communication, calling on organizations and individuals to donate and support the Cuban people. Thanks to that, the program has spread strongly with positive response from officials and people throughout the province.

Provincial Red Cross leaders receive funding to support the Cuban people from Viet Bac High School

By the end of October 16, 2025, through the association's account number and direct reception, the Provincial Red Cross Society had received donations of more than 2.7 billion VND from over 2,000 individuals and groups in the province. The entire amount received was transferred by the Provincial Red Cross Society to the Central Vietnam Red Cross Society according to regulations.

In addition to support through the Provincial Red Cross, many people in the province have sent support to the Cuban people through the account number of the Central Vietnam Red Cross.

The program “65 years of Vietnam - Cuba friendship” is an event of profound diplomatic significance on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam - Cuba diplomatic relations. For the people of the whole province, this is an opportunity to express gratitude and affection to the Cuban people.
