On October 4, Popular Science Magazine coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Long Dien commune (HCMC) to organize the program "Healthy every day", with the topic "Recognizing and treating musculoskeletal diseases and stroke in the elderly".
More than 200 local elderly people attended and received direct knowledge and guidance on early detection and timely treatment of common diseases such as: bones and joints, stroke, etc. from doctors from Saigon International Orthopedic Trauma Hospital (under the SAIGON-ITO System), People's Hospital 115.

In addition to the thematic report, the team of doctors also spent time answering many questions and concerns of the elderly about prevention, treatment, as well as nutrition and exercise to improve bone and joint health and prevent stroke.

Dr. Nguyen Sy Lap, Head of the Treatment Department , Saigon International Orthopedic and Trauma Hospital, emphasized: “Musculoskeletal diseases can be detected early and treated effectively if patients have the right knowledge, apply appropriate care methods and receive timely medical support. This is a key factor in prolonging life, improving quality of life and maintaining independence of the elderly.”
In addition to professional activities, the program also awarded 23 gifts to the elderly in difficult circumstances, each gift included 1 gift and 1.5 million VND in cash, total value 45 million VND.
