Troops from Brigade 229, E 833, and the Command of the Defense Zone of 4 Bac Ninh provinces were also quickly mobilized to support.

Many mechanical vehicles such as excavators, trucks, etc. were also mobilized to reinforce the dike foot, transport emergency materials to prevent dike overflow in the Doai village area and handle the incident of open sluice gate at Vong Nguyet Pumping Station.

The water level of Cau River is now higher than the water level in the fields.

By noon on October 9, the Cau River dike in Tam Giang commune was still safe.

At 11:00 a.m. on October 9, Tam Giang Commune People's Committee informed: "At present, the dike is still safe."

Cau River (also known as Nhu Nguyet River, Phu Luong River) is the largest river originating from the Phja Khao range (over 1,500m high) and Tam Tao (Cho Don area of ​​Bac Kan province), flowing through Bac Kan to Thai Nguyen, Bac Giang, Bac Ninh, Hanoi, combining with tributaries to form the Thai Binh River.
