Meeting of the Steering Committee and Organizing Committee of the Fifth Political Contest on Protecting the Party's Ideological Foundation, 2025

On September 30, at the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, a meeting of the Steering Committee and Organizing Committee of the 5th Political Essay Contest on Protecting the Party's Ideological Foundation in 2025 took place.

Professor, Dr. Nguyen Xuan Thang, Politburo member, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council, Head of the Organizing Committee chaired the meeting.

The Steering Committee and Organizing Committee of the contest noted that although the 2025 contest took place in a context of rapid changes in the country, especially the reorganization of the entire political system and the implementation of a two-level local government, the number of entries submitted was quite large (541,766 entries in 5 categories).

The works are consistent in quality, closely following the prominent issues. In particular, many excellent works appeared from the way of choosing the problem, naming the topic, solving the problem in a scientific , tight, and attractive way. Many units, localities, and groups of authors have had close coordination in building quality works to participate in the contest.

At the meeting, after hearing the report on the final round results and proposed awarding options, delegates discussed, exchanged opinions and agreed on the winning works and awards for the categories of newspapers, magazines, radio, television and video clips.

The award ceremony is scheduled to take place at Hall No. 1, Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, at 8:10 p.m. on October 22, 2025, broadcast live on VTV1, on the occasion of the 7th anniversary of the 12th Politburo issuing Resolution 35-NQ/TW.
