The second-generation Hyundai Venue has been fully revealed in India ahead of its official launch in November, marking a major shift in the compact urban SUV segment. The new model ditches the rounded lines of its predecessor for a more squared-off, muscular look, and gets a significant technological upgrade with the introduction of Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).

Transform with futuristic design language
The new Hyundai Venue has a design that is a cross between the small SUV Exter and its elder brother Creta. The entire body has been completely renewed, giving it a sturdy and modern look. The front of the car makes a strong impression with a strip of LED daytime running lights running across the entire width, located right under the flat and embossed hood. The large grille is placed lower, integrating the headlight cluster and notably the presence of a radar sensor, confirming the presence of the ADAS technology package.
From the side, the 2025 Venue is reminiscent of the Hyundai Tucson with its wide wheel arches and square plastic cladding, emphasizing its SUV look. The amount of plastic cladding on the sides of the car has also been increased, giving the car a more rugged and off-road look. A notable detail is the aerodynamic wheel design, similar to that on Hyundai's electric models, raising the possibility of a Venue EV version in the future.

The rear of the car continues to maintain the muscular style with larger rear windows, promising to improve the space for the rear seats. The trunk door is shaped in a blocky shape, along with a strip of LED taillights connecting according to modern design trends. Details such as the roof rack, spoiler and shark fin antenna complete the dynamic look of the SUV.
Digital cabin and enhanced comfort
Although there are no official images yet, the interior of the new Hyundai Venue is expected to have a revolution in design and equipment. The car will likely be equipped with a pair of large screens, including a digital clock panel and a central touch screen, similar to recent Hyundai models. The finishing materials are also expected to be more premium.
In terms of amenities, the new Venue will likely feature segment-leading features such as ventilated front seats, power driver's seat, 6 standard airbags, USB-C charging ports for both rows of seats, and rear air-conditioning vents, providing a more comfortable experience for all passengers.
Diverse engine options and N-Line versions
Initially, the new generation Hyundai Venue will still maintain the existing engine options in the Indian market. Hyundai also confirmed that it will continue to offer the N-Line version, aimed at customers who love the feeling of sports driving with tweaks to the suspension and appearance.

Engine specifications (expected in India)
Engine version | Capacity | Capacity | Torque |
---|---|---|---|
1.2L Gasoline Naturally Aspirated | 1,200 cc | 82 horsepower | 114 Nm |
1.0L Turbocharged Gasoline | 1,000 cc | 118 horsepower | 172 Nm |
1.5L Turbocharged Oil | 1,500 cc | 114 horsepower | 250 Nm |
Increasing pressure in the segment
With a design makeover and especially the addition of the ADAS level 2 safety technology package, the new Hyundai Venue is ready to increase the pressure on strong competitors such as Kia Sonet and Toyota Raize. ADAS equipment is gradually becoming a new standard in the low-cost SUV segment in markets like India, and Venue is catching up with this trend. After launching in India, it is likely that this model will soon be introduced in Vietnam, promising to further enliven the competition in the urban SUV segment.
