World coffee market: At the end of the most recent trading session, the price of Robusta coffee in London for November 2025 delivery decreased by 41 USD/ton, at 4573 USD/ton, and for January 2026 delivery decreased by 44 USD/ton, at 4480 USD/ton.

Entering the 2025-2026 coffee crop, domestic and world coffee prices remain high. Industry experts say this stable price trend is due to well-controlled supply and continued growth in global demand.
Farmers are now financially stable after several successful harvests, allowing them to regulate their sales, making it difficult for coffee prices to fall further in the near future. This is a key factor in keeping the coffee market stable even as the new harvest season begins.
According to forecasts from specialized organizations, Vietnam's coffee output in the 2025-2026 crop year could increase by 5% to 10%. The reasons are favorable weather, good selling prices and growers having conditions to invest more in crop care.
Over the past two years, farmers have also stepped up replanting and expanded acreage, contributing to additional output for the new crop. The application of science and technology and variety management has also helped Vietnam’s coffee productivity continue to grow steadily.
The latest report from the International Coffee Organization (ICO) shows that in August, global coffee exports reached 11.35 million bags, down 3.7% year-on-year, marking the second consecutive month of decline.
However, in the first 11 months of the 2024-2025 crop year (from October 2024 to August 2025), global exports will still increase slightly by 0.2%, reaching 127.9 million bags.
Notably, exports from South and Central America declined sharply by double digits, while Asia and Africa showed positive growth. In particular, the Asia-Oceania region increased by 14.9% to 3.5 million bags in August, with Vietnam playing the largest role in this increase.
In August, Vietnam's coffee exports increased by 38.9% to more than 1.9 million bags, the strongest increase among major producing countries. This is also the seventh consecutive month that Vietnam has recorded positive export growth.
In total, since the beginning of the crop year, Vietnam has exported 25.8 million bags of coffee, up 7.1% over the same period last year. This increase helps Vietnam continue to affirm its position as the world's largest exporter of robusta coffee.
Experts say coffee prices are likely to remain high in the coming time thanks to stable demand in Europe, the US and especially emerging markets in Asia.
In the context of global economic fluctuations, coffee is still considered an agricultural product with sustainable consumption. With advantages in output and improved quality, Vietnam is expected to continue to increase exports in the new crop year, while actively contributing to the global coffee supply chain.
