Jordi Alba announces retirement, Barca 'gang' at Inter Miami is about to disband

"The time has come to close a truly meaningful chapter in my life. I have decided to end my professional career at the end of this season," Alba said. Among the teams Alba wanted to pay tribute to were Hospitalense, Cornella, Nastic de Tarragona, Valencia, Barca and Inter Miami. He concluded: “Finally, I would like to thank Inter Miami for opening its doors to me, giving me the opportunity to enjoy this journey until the last moment. Today, I close this chapter with the belief that I have given my all, that football has been and will always be an essential part of my life. Thank you, football, for everything.”
