Connecting Tuyen Quang province with Korean enterprises

According to a VNA reporter in Seoul, on October 11, the Vietnamese Embassy in Korea coordinated with Tuyen Quang province to organize a meeting between the Tuyen Quang province delegation and Korean businesses at the headquarters of the Vietnamese Embassy in Seoul.

This conference was attended by nearly 100 guests including representatives of Korean enterprises and associations, typically the association of small and medium enterprises, the Institute of Biotechnology, the Korea-Vietnam Economic Cooperation Committee and many Korean economic cooperation associations; leaders and representatives of departments and branches of Tuyen Quang and representatives of the Vietnam Association of Small and Medium Enterprises in Korea.

Speaking at the opening of the Conference, Mr. Vu Ho, Vietnamese Ambassador to Korea, emphasized that the Conference is one of the practical and effective steps to implement the results achieved during the official visit to Korea by General Secretary To Lam. Ambassador Vu Ho highlighted the strategic position, potential and development prospects of Tuyen Quang province. The Conference is an important occasion for the two sides to enhance understanding, promote investment, trade, tourism , labor cooperation, etc., contributing to deepening the comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and Korea. Ambassador Vu Ho also emphasized that there is still much room for practical and effective cooperation between Tuyen Quang province and Korea.

At the Conference, Mr. Hoang Gia Long, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Tuyen Quang province, introduced the province's strategic location, potential, economic development, strengths, preferential policies, and investment attraction in areas such as agricultural and forestry processing industry, renewable energy, supporting industry, eco-tourism, high-tech agriculture, etc. and expressed his readiness to welcome and accompany Korean partners in economic development and implement effective cooperation projects.

Most Korean enterprises and associations expressed their appreciation for Vietnam's development in recent times, and their interest in the potential for cooperation with Tuyen Quang province, especially after merging with Ha Giang to become the seventh largest province in the country. Some Korean enterprises expressed their confidence in the province's stable investment environment, preferential policies and green and sustainable development orientation when some Korean enterprises have invested in Tuyen Quang province. Many delegates assessed that there is still a large room for cooperation with the province, especially in developing infrastructure, technology, energy, agriculture, labor, etc.

In his closing speech at the Conference, Ambassador Vu Ho affirmed that the Vietnam-Korea relationship is one of the most special partnerships and cooperation between Vietnamese localities and Korea has achieved many positive results. The Ambassador also emphasized that the Conference to meet and connect Tuyen Quang province with Korean partners is a practical step to promote the image, potential, and attractive investment environment of the province, while strengthening the friendship and comprehensive cooperation between the two sides in the coming time.
