VHO - Stage 2 of the Southeast Asian Women's Volleyball Tournament - SEA V.League 2025 has just ended at Ninh Binh Provincial Stadium with the championship title belonging to the Vietnam women's volleyball team.

Stage 2 results

In the second round of SEA V.League 2025, the Vietnamese women's team, along with the Philippines, Indonesia and Thailand, will compete in a round robin to calculate points and rankings.

Before entering the decisive match for the championship, the Vietnamese women's team had 3-0 victories over the Philippines and Indonesia in the first two matches.

Similarly, defending champion Thailand also had 2 wins with scores of 3-1 and 3-0 against the Philippines and Indonesia respectively.

In the decisive confrontation for the "queen title", the Vietnamese women's team, despite being led 2-0 by Thailand, still came back to win 3-2 and won the second round of SEA V.League 2025.

This is the first time in history that the Vietnamese women's team has defeated Thailand in an official tournament and also the first time the team has won a stage of the SEA V.League.

This championship will be a great motivation to help coach Nguyen Tuan Kiet and his team confidently head towards the world championship at the end of August in Thailand as well as the 33rd SEA Games at the end of the year.

Meanwhile, Thailand finished second for the first time in a SEA V.League stage while the Philippines beat Indonesia 3-0 to win the bronze medal.
