According to this unit, immediately after receiving feedback on the patchwork situation on the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet expressway, the unit operating the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet expressway project held a meeting with the contractor and related parties.

Patching points due to damaged road surface appeared in both directions North - South, South - North on Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet expressway, from Km 175 - Km 160

Project Management Board 7 said that the damage to the asphalt concrete road surface mentioned in the article was within the scope of construction by Phuc Loc Group Joint Stock Company, under Package XL03, the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet section construction investment component project.

Although Phuc Loc Group Joint Stock Company has promptly repaired the damage, some locations have not yet met technical and aesthetic requirements. To avoid similar situations that cause public outrage and ensure traffic safety on the route, especially during the upcoming Tet holiday, Project Management Board 7 requests the unit to urgently carry out repairs.

In particular, urgently inspect, review the site and immediately repair and fix the repaired locations but do not meet technical and aesthetic requirements as well as other locations if it is considered that there is a risk of future damage under the responsibility of the construction warranty across the entire scope constructed by the Contractor in Package XL03.

The road surface of Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet highway has some uneven patches.

The contractor is required to report the implementation plan to the Road Management Office IV.1, Project Management Board 7, and the supervision consultant for inspection, supervision, and to ensure completion of the remedial and repair work before December 27, 2024.

During the implementation process, the contractor must strictly comply with the approved traffic safety measures to ensure the safety of vehicles in circulation. The contractor is fully responsible before the Ministry of Transport and the law if traffic safety is violated.

Project Management Board 7 also requested the Supervision Consultant to inspect, urge and monitor the contractor's implementation process and required the contractor to strictly comply with the approved construction organization measures throughout the implementation process to ensure traffic safety.
