On September 26, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee held a meeting to listen to reports on the implementation of tasks and progress of projects invested by the Management Board of Construction Investment Project No. 3 (old Dak Nong area); the implementation of site clearance for the North-South Expressway Construction Investment Project, West section, Gia Nghia-Chon Thanh (section through Lam Dong province).

According to the report of the Investment and Construction Project Management Board No. 3, the unit is the investor of 36 projects; of which, 2 projects are preparing for investment, 24 projects are under construction, 10 projects are being completed and put into use. In addition, there are 2 projects under the Investment Project for Construction of the North-South Expressway, West, Gia Nghia-Chon Thanh section.

Director of the Management Board of Construction Investment Project No. 3, Ha Sy Son, said the main difficulty and obstacle of projects in the area at present is site clearance.

Up to now, the capital allocated for 2025 has been disbursed over 332.9 billion VND/2,200 billion VND, reaching 15% of the plan. Currently, the Board is still facing many difficulties due to problems in site clearance, especially in terms of implementing units, procedures for measuring and accepting maps. Some projects have difficulty in terms of source of fill materials, overlapping with bauxite exploration and exploitation planning...

Particularly for the North-South Expressway Construction Investment Project in the West, the Gia Nghia-Chon Thanh section is about 23.1km long, with 3 component projects. The total area of ​​land cleared is about 227.5ha, located in the two communes of Kien Duc and Quang Tin. According to the general assessment, this project is currently behind schedule.

Component project 2 (under the Expressway Project) on investment in service roads and overpasses, the investor has disbursed over 37.4% of capital.

Specifically, up to now, Component Project 1, implemented by Gia Nghia-Chon Thanh Expressway Company Limited, is organizing the preparation of design documents. At the same time, propagate and mobilize people to create consensus to speed up site clearance and facilitate the project.
