Hotel in Vung Tau uses robots to mix drinks

A hotel in Vung Tau ward (HCMC) has just put into operation a robot to serve drinks, bringing a new experience to tourists.

The robot worth 1.4 billion VND can hold cups, pour drinks, take ingredients, and control coffee machines with high precision. The robot was put into operation by Premier Pearl Vung Tau Hotel (Vung Tau Ward, Ho Chi Minh City) from October 2025.

"This is the first time I've had milk tea made by a robot. The experience is really impressive," said Nguyen Minh Hieu, a tourist.

Robots place mixed drinks on trays to serve customers

Premier Pearl Vung Tau Hotel is a pioneer in the area in bringing robots into service. In addition to bartending robots, the hotel also has other service robots, which will be put into operation from the end of 2024.

These robots can operate continuously for 13 hours, each charge takes 3 hours. The robot uses English as the default language.

Ms. Nguyen Be Tam, Business Manager of Premier Pearl Vung Tau Hotel, said: "Using robots to serve helps create a highlight for the hotel and brings many positive feedbacks, especially from young people."
