Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Phan Thi Thang said that rural enterprises and industrial establishments are important elements in local socio-economic development and make a significant contribution to the country's development. In recent times, the industrial promotion policy assigned by the Government to the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the People's Committees of provinces and cities has been effective in accompanying and actively supporting the business community and investment establishments to develop production and business in rural areas.
In industrial promotion activities, the development of typical rural industrial products is identified as one of the key contents, organized annually and deployed nationwide. This activity aims to encourage businesses and establishments to improve production capacity, improve product quality, promote trade, thereby contributing to promoting socio -economic development in localities and regions.
Implementing the 2025 work plan, the Ministry of Industry and Trade organized the 2025 Rural Industrial Products Exhibition to introduce the achievements of industrial and handicraft development of localities across the country. The exhibition attracted more than 150 organizations and enterprises from 32 provinces and cities, with a scale of 250 booths; displaying and introducing hundreds of products that have been voted and honored as typical rural industrial products at the national and regional levels.
More than 70% of the products displayed at the Exhibition have entered distribution channels and supply chains nationwide. The highlight is the handicraft, textile, footwear, and food processing groups with diverse designs and high quality, promising to bring visitors many impressive experiences. In addition, the Organizing Committee also arranged spaces to experience traditional handicrafts, areas to enjoy specialty tea, and booths to display products related to energy saving and green consumption.
Deputy Minister Phan Thi Thang believes that the Exhibition will become an effective bridge, bringing practical economic value and opening up many cooperation and investment opportunities for the business community and rural industrial establishments.
The exhibition will take place from October 3-7, at the square of Vincom Mega Mall Royal City Trade Center, 72 Nguyen Trai, Thanh Xuan Ward, Hanoi .
