The exhibition of tourism photos and introduction of unique tourism products, the Northwest culinary festival are activities within the framework of the Northwest Quintessence Festival - Dien Bien in 2025. In addition to the exhibition and introduction booths of Dien Bien province, there is also the participation of 15 provinces and cities in the country, including: Lai Chau, Son La, Lao Cai, Phu Tho, Tuyen Quang, Khanh Hoa, Dak Lak, Thanh Hoa, Ninh Binh, Hung Yen, Quang Ngai, Quang Ninh, Bac Ninh, Hanoi and Hai Phong.
Coming to the "Colors of the Northwest" tourism photo exhibition, visitors can enjoy more than 200 typical artistic photos, reflecting vivid perspectives on the majestic natural beauty, diverse cultural identity and rich tourism development potential of the provinces of Lao Cai, Lai Chau, Son La, Phu Tho, Tuyen Quang and Dien Bien.
The space to introduce unique tourism products with more than 40 booths of participating localities and tourism businesses is a place to gather and promote typical cultural and tourism values. At the booths of provinces, cities and tourism businesses, publications, documents, and clips on the potential, products and services of tourism and travel. This is also an opportunity for units to connect and promote cooperation in developing tourism products; promote agricultural products, regional specialties and typical OCOP products.
The Northwest Cuisine Festival attracts the attention of many people and tourists with traditional dishes with the typical flavors of the mountains and forests, experiencing the rustic, close and rich culinary space. Thereby, the image of the culinary quintessence of the Northwest ethnic groups is introduced and widely spread.
At the opening ceremony, Mr. Vu A Bang, Vice Chairman of Dien Bien Provincial People's Committee, introduced the tourism potential and strengths of the Northwestern provinces, emphasizing the significance and importance of the Northwest - Dien Bien Quintessence Festival 2025, the events within the framework of the Festival, including the space to introduce Northwest culture, tourism, and cuisine. The activities create a rich and emotional experience space for people and tourists when participating in the Festival. Through that, honoring and introducing traditional values, arousing pride, creating momentum for sustainable economic and social development cooperation between the expanded Northwestern provinces and Ho Chi Minh City.
With its rich scale and content, the activities of the Tourism Photo Exhibition and the Introduction of unique tourism products, the Northwest Cuisine Festival at the Northwest Quintessence Festival - Dien Bien in 2025 promises to bring visitors unique and emotional experiences. The event is not only an opportunity to strongly promote the image of the land and people of the Northwest to domestic and international friends, but also contributes to creating a driving force to promote sustainable tourism development, closely linking the economic, cultural and social development of localities in the region.
