Major General Nguyen Quang Anh, Director of the Military Technical Department, Corps (TCHC-KT) attended and delivered the opening speech. Also attending the opening were Colonel Tran Duc Tho, Deputy Commander of the Signal Corps; leaders, Board of Directors of the Signal Officer School and 66 comrades who are commanders and officers of the information sector from units throughout the army.

During the 2 days (September 11 and 12), the delegates participating in the training will study a number of topics: General introduction to the organizational system, functions, and tasks of the entire military information technology sector; basic contents on ensuring information equipment, focusing on grouping and classifying the quality of information equipment; detailed contents on technical assurance for information technology equipment; information technology training; management and industry development; application of IT, digital transformation in management; unification of forms and books of the information technology sector at all levels; occupational safety and hygiene work in the information technology sector; technical mobilization work in the information technology sector; information technology assurance work in operations; technical work in the information technology sector, defense operations in military regions, defense zones of provinces and cities and orientation of scientific and technological research work in the information technology sector in the period 2026-2030.

Speaking at the opening of the training, Major General Nguyen Quang Anh, Director of the Department of Military Engineering, Service/TCHC-KT emphasized that the goal of the training was to equip and update basic knowledge on information technology work, combat readiness, as well as introduce digital data management software for the information industry in the digital ecosystem of the entire military engineering industry. In order to help officers and commanders of the information industry improve their professional qualifications and apply knowledge effectively into practice.

At the same time, the Organizing Committee is required to maintain the correct time and content of the training program, ensuring good learning and living conditions for the soldiers. Teachers need to carefully prepare the content and have creative teaching methods. Trainees need to make the most of their time, actively study documents, master knowledge and strictly follow discipline, ensuring absolute safety for people and equipment throughout the training process.

During the training period, officers and students will also visit some areas displaying IT products at the Information Technology and Foreign Language Center of the Information Officer School. After the training course ends, the Organizing Committee will draw lessons and receive suggestions and recommendations from units to serve as a basis for consulting on the content of information technology work for the entire army.
