According to the report at the conference, Thac Hai relic in village 6, Ea Rok commune, Dak Lak province (formerly Ia Jloi commune, Ea Sup district, Dak Lak province) was discovered in 2020. This relic has been excavated three times: the first time in March 2021; the second time from November 2021 to May 2022 and the third time from June to August 2024.
During the fourth excavation, which took place from May 5 to June 26, the excavation team collected many rich and valuable relics and artifacts of important scientific significance.
Specifically, the fourth phase excavated a total of 1,219 relics and artifacts, including: grinding tables (flat/concave), grinding stones/stones, tables, axes/adzes, tool fragments, stone knife fragments/stone saw fragments, drill bits, broken stone jewelry pieces, glass beads, tubular beads, stone cores, drill bit blanks/sketches...
All these artifacts are currently preserved at Dak Lak Museum, serving scientific research.

Based on the practice of continuous survey and excavation since 2021, the host unit of Dak Lak Museum continues to plan and speed up the excavation and relocation of relics and artifacts at Thac Hai relic site before this important archaeological site is at risk of being destroyed due to the impact of weather, climate, and floods.
In addition, Dak Lak Museum plans to organize large-scale scientific seminars to research and further clarify the site's great cultural and historical value.
