Each house is not only a testament to the Party's correct policies, but also a gift, a love and gratitude, where millions of hearts come together to light up hope for people in difficult circumstances.
With the spirit of "Whoever has something contributes, whoever has property contributes, whoever has merit contributes, whoever has a lot contributes a lot, whoever has little contributes a little", the program of joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses is not only a social security activity, but also a song about compassion, solidarity and sharing.
Agencies, units and localities in the province have mobilized all resources: not only money but also every brick, every inch of land, every working day of the whole community, family and neighborhood contributing and sharing.
To complete the program of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses, Dak Lak province determined that resource mobilization should not only rely on the state budget but also promote the participation of businesses, organizations and individuals.
In addition to the central budget, savings and local budget (about 565 billion VND), the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee have launched a wide campaign throughout the province and to each person to create a strong change in awareness and responsibility of Party committees, authorities, cadres, party members and people of all walks of life to join hands to support the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses.
Accordingly, 100% of localities in the province have organized campaigns and called for support for the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses; established mass mobilization teams to mobilize human resources to build and repair houses for households in the area. As a result, the total contribution from households reached over 107 billion VND; other socialized sources were over 25.7 billion VND.

Responding to the province's call, many businesses have agreed to build houses at half or even one-third of the market price. The source of construction materials is also calculated at the original price, and the businesses also support transportation to help the shelters for poor households to be deployed quickly and economically. Mr. Vu Van Giap, Director of Anh Tuan Construction Company Limited (Buon Ma Thuot Ward) said that participating in the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses of Dak Lak province, the company undertook to build 433 houses in Lak, Krong Bong and Ea Sup (old) districts. In addition to accepting construction at low prices, the company also supports gifts, necessities and household appliances, with a total value of up to 330 million VND.

With many resources, thousands of houses in the province have been built with a budget of up to hundreds of millions of VND from contributions from families, relatives and the community. This reality proves the words of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh : "State capital only plays a leading role, seed capital, mobilizing social resources, people's resources, businesses, and philanthropists".
Each house built is a touching story of humanity. In early 2025, the family of Ksor Y Tlang (Le Diem hamlet, Song Hinh commune) was considered for support to remove the temporary house. However, due to difficult conditions and lack of counterpart funds, there was a risk that it could not be implemented. At that time, the Youth Union of Hai Rieng town (old) coordinated with the youth union members of the Criminal Police Department (Provincial Police), the Youth Union of the Vocational College and a number of businesses and accompanying units to contribute labor and money to support the construction of a house for Ksor Y Tlang's family. With their joint efforts, the new house of Ksor Y Tlang's family was completed with a total value of more than 100 million VND.
In the same locality, Mr. Nie Nghi's family is also in a particularly difficult situation. He is raising two children alone; one of them has a congenital disability and cannot walk or take care of himself, so the eldest son, who is still in school, has to stay home to take care of his younger brother so that his father can go to work. The "assets" of Mr. Nie Nghi's family are only a dilapidated, run-down wooden house and a few acres of rice fields that his mother lent him to grow rice for daily living.

To help the family remove the temporary house, Song Hinh Commune Youth Union coordinated with charity channels to call for community support of 100 million VND. To reduce costs, the local government mobilized Mr. Huynh Minh Hoang (a local construction contractor) to build a house for Mr. Nie Nghi at half the market price. Notably, the construction workers and assistants in the construction team also reduced their wages and contributed more money to support Mr. Nie Nghi's family to have a spacious house at the lowest cost and with the best quality possible. "Although there was no profit, the whole team was very happy and warm-hearted when seeing Mr. Nie Nghi and his children have a new house. On the day of handing over the house, the construction workers also contributed money to buy some household electrical appliances for him and his children," Mr. Huynh Minh Hoang shared.
According to Mr. Nguyen Chi Hien, Chairman of Song Hinh Commune People's Committee, the highlight of the movement to eliminate temporary houses in Song Hinh Commune is to create consensus and join hands with the whole community; some people contribute labor and money to support poor households to eliminate temporary houses. Typically, mass organizations have mobilized more than 150 working days, organized the demolition of old houses, collected split stones, roofed, painted walls, installed electricity... to reduce construction costs. The locality also called on businesses and stores to sell construction materials at low prices, supported means of transport, machinery and equipment for digging and digging house foundations; mobilized funds to buy more than 300 m3 of soil, more than 160 m3 of stone, more than 210 m3 of sand and supported floor tiles with a total value of nearly 50 million VND for poor households to eliminate temporary houses.
It can be said that each house built is a touching story of humanity and compatriotism. Behind each solid wall and each solid roof built is the strength of solidarity, a testament to the spirit of "helping each other", "loving others as you love yourself" that has existed and developed throughout the history of the nation.
