The first World Cultural Festival in Hanoi was organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Hanoi People's Committee at the Thang Long Imperial Citadel Heritage Center from October 10 to 12.
The festival includes 45 national cultural spaces, 34 food booths, 23 domestic and foreign art troupes, 12 book introduction units and 22 countries participating in the film screening program.

Besides the main activities held every night, including art performances, fashion shows and charity auctions, the daily activity that is loved by visitors at the World Culture Festival is exploring the cuisine of 5 continents.
At the food stalls located near the festival entrance, visitors have a variety of menus to choose from, depending on each person's taste.
Tourist Tran Thuy Linh (21 years old) said that she took advantage of the weekend off from school to visit the food stalls of various countries. She really likes Japanese and Korean food. Coincidentally, these two stalls were located right next to each other, making her very happy to experience her favorite food in a buffet style.
"I bought Korean rice cakes for 50,000 VND and some Japanese skewers for about 90,000 VND. I think this price is quite reasonable for a dining experience. But if you want to eat a lot, each person has to spend a few hundred thousand VND," Linh shared.
According to Ms. Linh, the flavors of these two Asian food stalls are quite "standard" according to what she has known in Japan and Korea.

At the Mexican food booth, chef Pato Munoz said he received an invitation from the Mexican Embassy to serve tourists at the World Culture Festival.
"I have been in Vietnam for a year now. I really like the climate and the friendliness of the Vietnamese people. At this festival, I served two traditional Mexican dishes: tacos and nachos.
These are dishes that have a complete nutritional combination of starch, meat and vegetables. I hope that visitors will love my dishes as well as the cultural experience at this festival," said Pato Munoz.
At the French food stall, vendor Kim Thi Trang said: "At this festival, we bring typical French pastries such as croissants, apple tarts, macarons..."
This stall is quite eye-catching, attracting many visitors to support. The cakes here cost about tens of thousands of dong, loved by children and couples.

Mr. Hoai Thanh (43 years old) said that he brought his wife and children to this festival. Like many other tourists, his family was interested in experiencing the food stalls, because there is rarely an opportunity to try many international dishes like here.
"I just tried homemade sausages at the Italian stall, priced at 80,000 VND each. This price is quite high compared to regular sausages but the flavor is very special, not always possible to try", said Mr. Hoai Thanh.
Mr. Thanh's family of 3 members chose to experience dishes they had never eaten before, especially Malaysian and Indian cuisine...

According to the organizers, the festival marked a record number of participating representative agencies, demonstrating the strong attraction of Hanoi - a center of cultural convergence, where civilizations meet and spread noble human values.
Throughout the 3-day festival, the public will be able to explore a colorful cultural picture, where art, music, cinema, fashion, fine arts and cuisine blend together, spreading the message "Culture is the bridge of humanity, creativity is the common language of the world".
