(Dan Tri) - On the morning of September 21, Hanoi inaugurated the new Children's Palace in Nam Tu Liem district and installed a signboard to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Capital Liberation Day (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024).
On the morning of September 21, at the Hanoi Children's Palace (My Dinh 2, Nam Tu Liem), the Hanoi People's Committee held the inauguration ceremony and installed the City-level project plaque to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Capital Liberation Day. Attending the ceremony were Standing Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Thi Tuyen; Secretary of the Central Youth Union, President of the Vietnam Student Association Nguyen Minh Triet; Standing Vice Chairwoman of the Hanoi People's Council Phung Thi Hong Ha; Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Ha Minh Hai and many other delegates, guests and children of the capital. Speaking at the event, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Thi Tuyen expressed her confidence and expectation that the Children's Palace with its new look, modern, spacious architecture, close to nature, using many smart, high-quality devices will promote its role as a cultural and sports center, meeting the needs of living, studying, playing, competing in sports and physical training for children, thereby creating a favorable environment for developing the city's future talents. "Continuing the good traditional history, the Hanoi Children's Palace will continue to innovate, make breakthroughs in quality, meet social needs, contribute to comprehensive education for the young of the capital, worthy of being a place to help dreams fly far away" , the Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee emphasized. Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyen awarded the certificate of recognition for the project commemorating the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital to the Director of the Project Management Board and Director of Hanoi Children's Palace. Leaders of the Central Government, City, City Youth Union, and Hanoi Children's Palace Management Board cut the ribbon to inaugurate the event.
The Hanoi Children's Palace project in Nam Tu Liem district has a total investment of 1,376 billion VND on an area of nearly 40,000 square meters, with a construction floor area of about 10,280 square meters. Spacious, modern space inside building A of the project.
The project includes an 800-seat theater; a 200-seat 3D-4D cinema; a 500-seat gymnasium; a 10-lane swimming pool; functional classrooms and a library; an astronomy tower... the equipment is invested according to modern standards and regulations. In the photo, delegates, families and children of the capital experience the movie theater here. Currently, the project has a 100-seat 3D cinema with a large screen and 2 smaller capacity 3D and 4D cinemas. Inside the 800-seat theater, the auditorium is equipped with all-seat seating that can automatically retract the floor with the push of a button. Currently, the project is only awaiting acceptance of the fire prevention and fighting part.
Besides the inauguration activities, this morning Hanoi Children's Palace also opened its doors for people and children to visit and experience. Many parents brought their children to explore and experience the new playground and activity area for children in the capital this morning. Entering the gate is a 68m high astronomical tower, inside are two binoculars and a large telescope. From here, you can easily see the whole city and learn about astronomy. At night, the tower is lit up, forming a large torch.
In building B, many children enjoy the four-season swimming pool. This is a large project and the most modern construction in Vietnam for children, built with the expectation of meeting the needs of learning, playing, entertainment, and physical training for children in the capital and the whole country.
