
Due to the impact of storm No. 10, the ward experienced very heavy rain, with rainfall of nearly 300 mm in some places, causing flooding in 2,104 households; 50m of Hong Thai dike broke; many roads such as Yen Bai - Khe Sang, Tran Binh Trong, Tuy Loc dike were flooded with mud and landslides. In addition, 8 cultural houses, more than 310 hectares of crops, 70 hectares of aquaculture, nearly 1,200 pigs and 46,000 poultry were severely damaged.
Immediately after the heavy rain, the Ward Civil Defense Command urgently inspected the scene, mobilized forces and vehicles to rescue, evacuate and move people to safety.

Forces of Division 355, Northwest Mobile Police Regiment, Provincial Military Command, Lao Cai Provincial Police, Battalion 27 (Air Defense - Air Force) mobilized more than 2,000 officers and soldiers along with vehicles and machinery to support clearing mud, clearing roads, clearing houses, helping people stabilize their lives soon.


At the conference, Nam Cuong Ward People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 6 collectives and 59 individuals of armed units with outstanding achievements in overcoming the consequences of storm No. 10.
The ward also proactively deployed response plans to storm No. 11, promoting the "4 on-site" motto to minimize damage and ensure safety for the people.
