Sharing with VTC News reporter, Cao Minh said that achieving many noble awards since he was a student always made him very proud.

"At that time, I promised myself that I would continue to learn, research and practice to become a professional singer, specializing in singing revolutionary and folk music.

I worked for a while in the Bong Sen troupe, then left and joined the Au Co music and dance troupe. After a while, I became a freelance singer, and it was thanks to the awards that helped me become more known to many people," he said.

According to Cao Minh, every time he performs revolutionary songs, songs written about Uncle Ho and the country, it brings him indescribable emotions.

Cao Minh always keeps the habit of waking up early to practice, so that each song he sings will convey to the listener the dreams, desires, and pride that the musician wants to convey in the songs.

"Revolutionary music always shows the heroic spirit of our army and people, the pride of the nation, and the hope in life. Folk songs will nourish people's souls, helping them love and be more attached to their homeland.

To me, revolution is the main music genre that has been around for years and is loved by the people. Listening to this music a lot will help us have more faith, will and optimism in life.

Folk music will nourish the human soul, help us love our homeland and country more.

I am proud to be the only person to win the award for "Best singer on the topic of Ho Chi Minh ". Wherever I am, my love for my homeland, country and Uncle Ho remains unchanged," he confided.

My teacher once said I was "a country boy who came to the city", when he discovered my singing voice, I decided to take the entrance exam to the Conservatory of Music and changed my life.

I had to study for 9 years before I could step onto the stage. During this time, there were times when I wanted to sing but I didn't allow myself to step onto the stage. I wanted to be worthy of being on stage as a singer," he said.
