This morning, October 10, the Digital Trust Alliance officially launched the “Not Alone” campaign, a nationwide initiative to protect children and adolescents in cyberspace.
With the message "Together we are safe online", the "Not Alone" campaign aims to raise community awareness, equip teenagers with online safety skills, and build a humane and trustworthy online environment.
Within the framework of the campaign, from October 6 to November 30, online safety skills training sessions were also deployed at many schools in 34 provinces and cities, helping students identify and handle dangerous situations online, while strengthening the connection between parents, schools and students.

In addition, the campaign also has the participation of 5 KOLs ambassadors: Rapper Den, singer MONO, beauty queens Bao Ngoc, Tieu Vy, Khanh Vy and companions such as artist Tuan Cry, choreographer Quang Dang; with the cooperation of international organizations, state agencies, businesses, digital platforms, press agencies, media and the community.
Also within the framework of the campaign, the Online Safety Day event will be held from October 18-19 at Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square, with experiential spaces, interactive games, VR/AR technology experience areas and a connecting music gala. The event will create a space for connecting artists, students and the community, spreading the message "Together we are safe online".
At the event, Major General Le Xuan Minh, Director of the Department of Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention, said that in the context that more than 77% of Vietnamese children and teenagers use the internet every day, cyberspace opens up many learning opportunities but at the same time also contains many unpredictable risks.
Authorities have recently recorded tens of thousands of online fraud reports each year. In 2025, a dangerous trend of “online kidnapping” targeting students, who lack life skills and are vulnerable to psychological manipulation, will emerge.
In the first 6 months of 2025 alone, there have been dozens of cases of children and teenagers being scammed, abused or lured online, many of which have left serious consequences for their mental health and safety.
Financial losses amount to billions of dong, not to mention the lasting psychological trauma…
For the "Not Alone" Campaign to be successful, the Director of Department A05 calls for the strong accompaniment and support of all ministries, branches, press and media agencies, social organizations, businesses and especially parents, teachers and students.
Every small action - a share, a reminder, a skill imparted in this campaign - can become a shield to protect children in cyberspace, keeping them in the safe and loving arms of their family, school, and society.

According to the representative of the Digital Trust Alliance, the campaign is being launched in the context of Vietnam preparing to organize the signing ceremony of the Hanoi Convention - the United Nations Convention against Cybercrime, taking place on October 25 and 26.
A representative of the Digital Trust Alliance shared that through the "Not Alone" campaign, the alliance hopes to spread the spirit of the Hanoi Convention to every citizen, so that every small action in cyberspace contributes to building a safe, humane and trustworthy Vietnam.
The "Not Alone" campaign is jointly organized by the Department of Cyber Security and High-Tech Crime Prevention (A05- Ministry of Public Security ), the National Cyber Security Association, and the Hanoi People's Committee. The campaign is supported by PVCombank, cross-border platforms TikTok, Meta, Google, and child rights organizations.
